honestly, jostrid wouldn’t bother me so much if the writers hadn’t forced it to happen so quickly

like, maybe something shifts at the end of the episode, but at this point, john has literally just left, to “keep her safe” more or less, the woman he’s been in a committed relationship with for years. and within the span of, at max, a couple hours, he’s already in some sort of insta relationship with astrid, making “next kiss” jokes

maybe i’m just totally missing a jesting tone or something. but this feels rushed and forced.
